There are a number of general alignment algorithm ideas, that can be employed within different contexts. We collect those that generalize well in this library.

A selection of (sequence) alignment algorithms. Both terminal, and syntactic variables, as well as the index type is not fixed here. This makes it possible to select the correct structure of the grammar here, but bind the required data type for alignment in user code.

Usage of this library in a Haskell project:
This package provides no "main" executable, but rather only library functionality. (Though sometimes tools, or example programs are provided). Usage requires some knowledge of Haskell.- Include the library in your cabal file.
- Use stack to simplify development. This will require adding the library with an exact version to the stack.yaml file. This includes the option to include this library directly from its github repository.
